SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20150713-24A90-2147430327. Matched catalog product: Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor Cub Cadet Hydrostatic Lawn Tractor LTX 1045. Source model text: LTX-1045(13AX91AT056). Incident: 2009 Cub Cadet LTX-1045 lawn tractor, 20 HP Kohler engine (SV600) caught fire and mower was destroyed. Fire broke out after I put mower in shed after mowing. Smelled burning plastic, rushed to shed and pulled mower out, extinguished fire. No personal injury, no structural damage to shed (which is attached to garage which is attached to house). Smoke damage to shed.
