Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20150918-D652D-2147428281. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Sharp The model is SMC2265KS.. Source model text: R551ZM. Incident: this is the 2nd microwave oven we bought by Sharp..the first one after having for less than a year started shooting flames from it but since we had no receipt we were unable to prove anything. We just purchased a 2nd one on July 18th and it got so hot on the outside we unplugged it and are afraid to plug back in and use. We spoke with someone at Sharp who told us they would send us to their safety office because the model we had was an explosive model!!!! I don't want anyone who owns one to go to bed and wake up to their house on fire!!!! Sharp has agreed after I told them I would contact you, TV and the BBB to replace with another brand new model not the same one I have. Please put out a recall notice because it got so hot it was like placing your hand on a burner after just cooking something on your stove.
