Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20151024-B43F2-2147427280. Matched catalog product: Samsung Samsung Galaxy S10FE 5G tablet and tablet cover. Source model text: LS24K1EEPV1XAA. Incident: My wife pressed the power button (rocker switch) on her monitor (plugged in to the same surge protector as the computer), and immediately she heard loud cracks and saw visible smoke. It took her several minutes to unplug the monitor (hard to reach placement). She breathed in the smoke which was acrid (my term), in the time it took to unplug the unit. She described the smoke as "toxic smelling."
