Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20151026-3AB3D-2147427232. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: KitchenAid KITCHENAID KUDS30IXSS4. Incident: My wife was making pasta with our KitchenAid gas cooktop and it exploded. She was able to get the kids out of the house and to control the fire until the fire department arrived. They were able to turn the gasoff and stop the fire. Apparently, there have been a number of similar cases online involving these gas on glass cooktops from KitchenAid and other Whirlpool brands.
