SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20151110-EDEBF-2147426842. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Masterbuilt Gravity Series� 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smok. Incident: I have a fairly new Masterbuilt 18in kettle bbq grill. Used maybe half dozen times. While moving the grill a few feet the handle broke off causing the grill to hit the ground throwing hot charcoal everywhere. It looks as if the hard plastic handle suffered heat stress at the point the screws held it in place. I was fortunate nobody was struck by the hot charcoal.
