Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160320-2FB8B-2147420810. Matched catalog product: LG LDE4413ST. Incident: Ever since we bought this LG Electric range 6 months ago we have had repeated problems with the cooktop turning on accidentally when we are working in the kitchen. The knobs are large and protrude from the front of the stove at hip height. They are easily bumped and turned on without us realizing it. We have learned to be very careful and not put anything on the stove except what we are cooking. Regardless, we have repeatedly often almost been burned by turning and unexpectedly finding a blazing hot burner with nothing on it.
