SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160410-5E90B-2147420326. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Coby TFTV3229. Incident: I was watching a movie like any other night. The t.v. all of the sudden made a loud pop, kind of like a fire cracker. My screen changed colors, and went to red and gray stripes. I turned it off for a few and unplugged it. About an hour later, I went to plug it back in, and the blue light kept flickering on and off. Then I started to smell it burning, so I unplugged it. I figured it was just old so I was looking online for places to recycle it. Then I stumbled upon this recall. So I was trying to get more information on what to do.
