Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160703-EAD88-2147417309. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cuisinart CCO-50BKN Deluxe Electric Can Opener. Incident: Cuisinart grind and brew coffee machine -- I've had two models (the second that was a replacement) that have started crackling and smoking. Cuisinart, after a long process, replaced the one from the fire it caused in May. The new one they sent is doing the same thing. I've researched online and can see that several customers have already submitted complaints to you but nothing has been recalled yet. Cuisinart has been uncooperative in is refunding these hazardous machines. Even a simple google review will yield dozens and dozens of reports of this happening and people nearly losing their homes to fires.
