SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160816-CD405-2147414978. Matched catalog product: Craftsman 917-286450. Source model text: 917.276824. Incident: Craftsman Lawn Tractor Model No. 917.276824 Serial No. 080906C009293 began leaking fuel on or about August 15, 2016 and filled garage with gasoline fumes over night causing a dangerous situation. A visual inspection showed that the fuel tank was seeping fuel around the seam of the top and bottom halves of the plastic fuel tank. It was necessary to drain the fuel tank below the seam to stop the leaking fuel. The fuel tank is Craftsman part No. 197766.
