Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160919-E6DB0-2147413991. Matched catalog product: Breville BOV800XL. Incident: While cooking at high temperature, the door to this oven flung open forcefully. I heard a popping sound and then the door flung open. When I went to close it, it closed momentarily and then opened again, and it was apparent that whatever mechanism the oven has to keep the door closed, was broken. Likely that is the popping sound I heard.
