Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160929-F6927-2147413569. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung destroyed in fire. Most likely WA45H7000AW or WA52. Source model text: WA45H7000AW. Incident: I was using a samsung top load washing machine (WA45H7000AW). I was washing bedding at the time and during the spin cycle I heard a loud explosion. I was not in the laundry room at the time. When I came up stairs the frame on the washing machine was all busted up and the washing machine itself had moved quite dramatically. It appeared that the drum had come loose. I contacted samsung and at the time they were unwilling to repair it at their cost because it was 2 months out of warranty.
