Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20161004-13681-2147412357. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung destroyed in fire. Most likely WA45H7000AW or WA52. Source model text: WA45H7000AW. Incident: On Sunday our washing machine during a wash started making a high pitched metal on metal scraping sound and shaking violently. Then it stopped and would not restart. I was able to unlock the lid and retrieve my clothes which had bits of plastic on them from the machine. The machine now has standing water inside it which will not drain and plastic pieces from the washing machine floating in it. The top loading washing machine is only just over a year old and was bought brand new from Lowe's. I've contacted Samsung 3 times since then. First they told me to go to a laundromat and I would hear from them in a months time! We are a family of four and live in the mountains so this is totally unacceptable. The second time we were given a ticket number and were told we would be called on Monday. We never were. Today they told me they would send a repair engineer to fix it. But I can't get hold of the repair engineer they told me I have to use.
