Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20161206-ED11C-1612513. Matched catalog product: GE The model # is -JGBS60DEK6WW.. Source model text: PZS25KSECFSS. Incident: We have a GE side by side refrigerator Model PZS25KSECFSS. The ice maker has a plastic auger (part# WR17X11263) that has broken twice in 14 months. The ice chips of pieces of the plastic auger until it doesn't even work anymore. Beside the broken part, there is potential risk for swallowing or cutting your mouth on the small chips. I chew on ice chips alot and have had a small piece of the broken auger in my mouth (11-30-2016). This could have cut me, could have choked on it or broken a tooth. You can't tell the diffence because they look just like the ice chips. I did not get hurt but someone else could.
