Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170117-8DBBE-2147407942. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cuisinart TOB-40. Incident: Cuisinart model TOB-40 toaster-oven-broiler. Purchased 2/7/2012. Returned first one right away because front-lower element was clearly overheating and would burn food. Replacement worked OK, but the same front-lower element slowly warped and displaced vertically a full inch to where it blocks the bread rack and will set food on fire when used normally.
