Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170404-FB1E0-2147404636. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Cuisinart TOB-40. Incident: A few years ago I purchased the Cuisinart Toaster Oven/Broiler Model TOB-40. I notices lately that the bottom removable crumb catch pan had a burn mark on it and when I looked inside the toaster oven the rear heating element was actually bent down toward the pan. I really like the toaster oven and when I went on line to purchase a new one I noticed that the reviews said this problem has happened to other people. It is definitely a fire hazard and I feel this toaster should have been recalled. I took pictures of the problem but cannot seem to attach them to this message.
