Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170610-E3B6E-2147399806. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Char-Broil Char-Broil X200 Gas Grill. Source model text: Char-Broil Tru-Infrared 2-Burner Gas Grill. Incident: I bought a Char-Broil Tru-Infrared 2-Burner Gas Grill from Walmart 6 months ago. The flame keeps going out and because you can't see through the metal plates I can't tell if it;'s still lit or not? When I check to see if the gas is still ignited by clicking the igniter, the gas explodes and pop's the iron plates up into the air. I have tried resetting the gas regulator and when that didn't work I even replaced the regulator, but my flame is still cutting out while still letting out gas and making a very dangerous situation.
