Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170620-2598C-2147399565. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: First Alert SA320. Incident: We purchased 4 new First Alert Fire/Smoke alarms (model SA320) in 2016. They recently started going off at random times giving the 3 beep series 4-5 times then stopping. I change the batteries every 6 months. They are continuing to alarm randomly. I have changed the batteries again thinking maybe the batteries were bad. This is not fixing the problem. I can understand maybe 1 being defective, but all 4 that I purchased? The date on the alarm is September 7, 2016. They were purchased from Lowe's.
