Source model text: XE50M12EC55UO. Incident: Water heater was installed and operated normally for over 3 years. It suddenly stopped working last week and upon inspection I noticed that the wiring had burned and the breaker had tripped. Fortunately, the fire/burning did not spread beyond the wiring.
