SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20171112-57985-2147395513. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Maytag Maytag Gemini MGR6875ADS. Source model text: Precision Touch 850 series. Incident: my Maytag Gemini stove, tripped circuit breaker. I turned the breaker back on and started to bake something. I began to smell my pie burning after 10 and checked on it, it was totally burned. I turned off and thought that would fix problem. It began to be really hot in the room. I opened the oven again and it was so hot and it it was still on,even though the control panel was off. I had to turn off circuit breaker again. It was 10 years old. Decided it was too dangerous to replace, so bought a different brand.
