Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20171203-25335-2147394855. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Traeger Unknown. Current model is "Tailgater". Source model text: Tailgater. Incident: Traeger Tailgater wood pellet smoker grill does not hold temperature. If the flame goes out or temp goes low the grill continues to feed pellets into the grill. Once this happens the pot where the pellets burn become over filled and then hot ash reegyntes the pellets causing extreme temperatures and at a final point the excessive smoke in the grill will Egnyte and blow the lid open from the heat and pressure. It is only a matter of time before this grill causes serious damage or death. This is not user error, the grill simply does not posses the proper safety features to prevent this from happening.
