SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20180204-77F00-2147393149. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: DeLonghi EW7707CM Safeheat 1500W ComforTemp Portable Oil-Filled. Incident: We have been using a Delonghi Safeheat space heater type DFH 460M, and today we smelled something burning. The wiring at the bottom had burned and it burned a hole in the carpet underneath the heater. We feel fortunate that it didn't cause a fire.
