Incident: On 2/8/18 approximated 6.00am my woman was getting prepare for work when the smoke alarm begin going off in the garage. It woke me up and we both saying why is that going off when my woman open the garage door from within the house their was smoke thorough out the garage and then we seen "fire" on top of the water heater (50ga 5500w elec tall platinum) Model No.XE50T12EC55U0-- Serial No.M021512725 where the wire goes into the top of the water heater. I got the fire extinguisher put the flame fire out.
