Product: Sears Kenmore 665.13213K900 (Sears Kenmore Dishwasher manufactured by Whirlpool). Incident: Sears Dishwasher (manufactured by Whirlpool) burning/fire smell. Subsequent to the smell machine is inoperative... dead. The control board in dishwasher is burnt. This is a known issue per http://www.kitchenaidfire.com/ and DishwasherSettlement.com website. Sears and Whirlpool giving me the runaround. Dishwasher info: Sears Kenmore Model# 665.13213K900 Stock# 13213K Serial# F00808143 Date of event: 01/30/18 Purchase/Delivery date on receipt: 4/17/2010 I have been trying to get this resolved but getting nowhere. I understand this unit is part of a well known event with defective control boards and are a fire hazard. There was a report on WXYZ TV (see https://www.wxyz.com/money/consumer/dont-waste-your-money/find-out-if-your-dishwasher-is-a-fire-risk ) . I am seeking a replacement unit or similar equitable compensation.
