SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20180330-34298-2147388909. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: DYSON DYSON V6 ANIMAL CORDLESS VACCUM. Incident: I BOUGHT A DYSIN V6 ANIMAL CORDLESS VACCUM AND IT SHOCKED MY 9YR OLD DAUGHTER WHILE SHE USED IT...THE CHARGE PORT IS DIRECTLY IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND ON THE HANDLE OF THE UNIT. I'M 228LBS, 6FT TALL, AND IT GAVE ME ONE HELL OF A SHOCK AS WELL..I CALLED DYSON AND THEY SAID IT WAS STATIC ELECTRICITY...NO IT WAS NOT.!!!! I GOT A LONG SHOCK AND CONTINUED TO GET THE SHOCK UNTIL I LET GO OF THE UNIT AND DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR.!!! THEY SAID TO COVER THE HOLE WITH TAPE OR WIPE THE UNIT DOWN WITH A DRYER SHEET.!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME.!!!!??? I PAID OVER $430.00 FOR THIS ITEM AND IT'S ABSOLUTELTY DANGEROUS TO OPERATE.!!..I WENT ONLUNE AND THERE'S PEOPLE IN MULTIPLE WEBSITES COMPLAING ABOUT THIS SAME SHOCKING HAZARD.!!!...I WANT YOUR DEPT. TO INVESTIGATE THEM ASAP.!!...DYSON REFUSED TO REPLACE OR REFUND MY MONEY THAT I PAID FOR THIS UNIT...THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.!!!!
