Incident: I was blowing leaves when suddenly the blower made a clattering noise. I immediately stopped blowing leaves. I observed that the fan inside the leaf blower had come apart with the fan blades all broken off and flying out the back of the leaf blower. I feel very fortunate that none of the plastic pieces struck or injured me.
