SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20180917-F13AD-2147385516. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Whirlpool Model #wrf767sdhz 26.8 cu ft 3 door French door re. Source model text: GR478LXPS. Incident: Whirlpool Range model GR478LXPS outer oven door GLASS EXPLODED while being gently cleaned- this should be tempered glass and while it did 'pebble' there were many shards and an abundance of glass 'dust' made up of fine glass shards. There was a slight injury to my hands (3 small cuts) but the oven was not on, there was no pressure put on the glass and the glass had not ever been struck or damaged previous to this (we don't have kids, it's just my wife and myself - no pets)
