Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20181011-CBB7F-2147385066. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Ryobi Ryobi Battery pack Model: P108 4ah, 72Wh. Source model text: Ryobi leafblower model P2108. Incident: Turned on blower and the orange plastic fan inside broke into pieces. Some of the pieces flew out into the air and onto the ground. We purchased it on May 29, 2017 at Home Depot along with an extended warranty but was told it is still under the manufacturer's warranty. I have called Ryobi's Lawn and Garden Service line twice-on Sept 10, [REDEACTED] filed a safety report and on Sept 20, [REDACTED] again filed a 2nd safety report. I was told both times that someone would contact me back in 7-14 days for a replacement blower BUT NOBODY HAS CALLED BACK. The reference number I was given is [REDACTED].
