Incident: I was awakened at 0430 this morning by a strange burning plastic smell. I was unable to figure it out after unplugging just about everything in my room but a lamp and the Samsung TV, and assumed the smell was coming from outside and went back to bed. I then woke up at 0645, turned on the TV and began to get ready for work. The smell became stronger, I unplugged the lamp, looked at the TV and the top half of the screen was turning black and the smell was becoming increasingly stronger. I immediately unplugged the TV.
