SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20190520-633A2-2147380872. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: HP ENVY. Source model text: Envy 15. Incident: My HP laptop was getting charged and it exploded. It started a fire. It was lying on the carpet and the carpet was destroyed. I am very fortunate that I was near the laptop. I got a blanket to cover it and put out the flame. The laptop is completely destroyed. Carpet need to be replaced as well. Thank fully no human injuries.
