Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20190723-C616F-2147379729. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Frigidiare FFMV164LSA (Microwave Over the Range Serial No: KG71329877 Model No: FFMV164LSA). Incident: Frigidaire Microwave Over the range (Product Model no FFMV164LSA, Serial No. KG71329877) was installed in my new purchased home (Builder: Lennar Homes). This product has same issue being reported in its website (https://www.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support--Manuals/?productCode=FFMV164LS ) over the year and yet they are trying to sell their warranty, product parts or technician services and not stepping up to recall this product or fix the root cause. I tried to talk to several costumer representative and explain them that this product is a safety hazard but they do not want to acknowledge it. I almost get caught with fire at breaker box with dedicated circuit to this appliance. I believe they are just getting to walk away saying that warranty has expired. I do not believe that this product is compliant to DHHS 21CFR SubChapter J (As stated in the product PN 16070000A22700-33066904)
