Incident: I was using an Allstar Innovations Hover Cover Magnetic Microwave Splash Guard as per instructions in my microwave oven . I heard what sounded like a gun shot blast from inside the microwave and found one of the magnets had exploded out of the plastic housing . I stopped the microwave as soon as I heard the pop and opened the door to smell stinky melted plastic and observed melted plastic splattered onto the food underneath along with one of the magnets . I burned my finger picking up the lid on the melted plastic taking the cover out of the microwave . I later took photos of the melted plastic lid and magnet that exploded. I tried to return the item to BB&B and was told by a clerk It was past 30 days and I needed to contact the manufacturer. What led me to contact you is that I found out I sm not the only consumer with this complaint.
