SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20190927-FA310-2147377438. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: cub cadet LT50 24HP CUB CADET (cub cadet riding lawn mower, 50 in cut yellow in color,model num. [REDACTED. LT50 24HP. sn. 2840968). Incident: I have bout a cub cadet riding mower June 9 2016 at tractor supply .I had mower deck problems the first 6 weeks of mowing,they kept fixing it,findy putting a new mower deck under it, on or about 09/10/2019, i have just mowed my lawn loaded the mower onto my trailer to have it worked on once again, seconds after i got of the mower the busted out in flames, i barley escaped the fire, the mower was a total loss in just mins.I contacted club cadet on the same date. they assigned me a case num. #[REDACTED]. the man i spoke with said the did have some trouble with there movers catching fire,but not that one. also advised me he didn't see them doing anything to help me. but he wanted pics. witch i sent 3 times, the frie damage 75% of my trailer also. i'm lucky i wasn't burn to death .
