Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20191030-DF2BB-2147376861. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Frigidaire FFHS2611PFA (2015 Stainless Steel Refrigerator). Incident: We have a 2015 Frigidaire Refrigerator model number FFHS2611PFA with serial number FA53612765 that I would like to submit as a hazard to the CPSC. Complaint: We came home to find that there was a faint smell of smoke throughout our home. We could not figure out where it was coming from. I explained to them that if the refrigerator had just conked out or had some type of malfunction that caused it to stop working that I agree, there would be no recourse besides us repairing it or buying a new one. However, by being simply plugged in, this appliance put our lives and home in danger due to faulty parts. Diagnosis: We did pay to have a certified technician come out to diagnose the issue and Im attaching the service notes and images from the technician in this email for reference. This was a faulty issue within the refrigerator that the tech says is very un
