Product: Craftsman 921.164710 (Air Compressor (used with power tools) 26 gallon). Incident: The consumer used the compressor once in a while (maybe once every few weeks/months). Recently (Summer 2019), the consumer started using the compressor for longer periods of time (approx.. 30 60 minutes) if it lasted that long. The air compressor would be in use, but the pressure would decrease and it would stop operating. The setting would drop as it recycled and the compressor would not turn back on. The air compressor then began to get extremely hot. The consumer said he burned his fingers when touching the air compressor after one of these incidents (date unknown). Once the consumer began to use the air compressor for more than 1 cycle, the problem began to happen every time he used the machine. 10/31/2019: The consumer saw [REDACTED] referenced on-line and called the firms recall phone number: [REDACTED], but was told his machine was not included and there was nothing they could do for him. Nothing else transpired. The consumer believes that this issue presents a fire and burn hazard.
