Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20191113-DB645-2147376594. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Whirlpool WMH53520CS - 2. Source model text: WMH53520CS. Incident: I own the Whirlpool Microwave-Hood combo with Model #WMH53520cs - 6 with a manufactured date of September 2016. A piece of the plastic within the microwave began dripping slowly and eventually, the piece of plastic that was hanging fell to the floor of the microwave. This has created a hole in the ceiling of the microwave. This model has a recall but the serial # I have is not included in a preexisting recall. I am not able to find a resource to let me know if the device is safe to continue being used. There is no metal inside of the unit to have caused this.
