SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20191213-621C5-2147376043. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Ardent Lift AD1 (Ardent Lift precision multi-tool. UPC number 6 45964 96425 Model no: AD1 S/N: A100613811920). Incident: I was gifted a new Ardent Lift as a medical cannabis patient this device is used to becarboxolate cannabis. After the third time during this it overheated and melted the plastic inside the device to the point it scorch the Exterior of housing of the unit. I reached out to the manufacturer and confirmed to there request and sent pictures and filled out the questions they asked. They also instructed me to ship back the unit to them after checking with my local post office I was told it is illegal to ship anything that has been used in cannabis manufacturing. I explained to the manufacturer what my local post office and Police Department had told me and that�s when they refused to replace their product. They blamed me saying I misused the device when in fact I followed there instructions on there YouTube channel. There have been similar problems posted online about this issue and the company denied that saying I was the only one to have a defective product. They are scamming medical cannabis patients and taking advantage of people who are trying to find a better quality of life during there finial days. They are praying on the sick and week selling a snake oil device.
