Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200416-B7480-2147372876. Matched catalog product: Char Broil Char Broil Patio Bistro Gas (LP) Grill, Model 126015 Series. Source model text: Char-Broil Grill2GO Model #12401734. Incident: I purchased a Char-Broil portable grill Model #12401734 (Serial Number 50190601777) in December 2019. When I first attempted to use the grill I couldn't figure out why propane was leaking from the regulator when in the "locked position" clearly indicated on the regulator. Thinking the problem might be with the individual 16oz propane canisters and not the regulator I tried three (3) different cannisters. Instructions are to screw the propane canister to the regulator and then insert & rotate regulator into the grill burner.
