Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200428-3ED9B-2147372671. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Gas Range LDG 4315ST (LG Gas Range, model LDG 4315ST, Size: 47 1/4 H x 40 9/16 D x 29 7/8 W). Incident: On April 15, 2020 my LG Range/Oven model LDG 4315ST caught fire while my wife was baking. I called LG to complain and they sent a technician out to repair the oven/range. The technician repaired the unit on April 20, 2020 and the next day April 21, 2020 the oven caught fire again while my wife was baking a potatoes and my wife had to use a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire. I called LG again to complaint that the oven caught fire again, I spoke to a customer service Rep and was told that someone from the LG safety department would contact me soon. its been 7 days and no one from the LG safety department has contacted me. I called LG customer service again on 4/27/20 and was told that systems were down and someone would call me back. At this point I am afraid that my defective LG Range/Oven may explode or burn my house down given the way it keeps catching fire.
