Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200528-55D7C-2147372044. Matched catalog product: Samsung Model No. NE58K9850WS. Incident: I purchased a Samsung Smart Fridge under 2 years ago. Since purchasing I noticed black mold builds up quickly no matter how much I clean, and there is always a lot of condensation too. We are newlyweds and this is my first fridge purchase so maybe I was naive but I thought it was normal. Then my ice machine stopped working altogether and froze over and I noticed a lot of mold buildup there too. Per suggestion, I put a thermometer in my fridge to check temperature. The fridge reported the temp as 37 degrees but my thermometer clocked in at 42 degrees, which I think explains the mold and why fresh produce or seafood spoils rather quickly.
