Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200618-CBF54-2147371637. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Polaris XP 1000 Trails and Rocks Editon. Source model text: General 1000 VIN: [REDACTED. Incident: My 2019 Polaris General burst into flames while working on a farm. Polaris sent out an engineer and said it was not a manufacturing defect, and was mostly like caused by a field burn that was out of control. I have a video showing the Polaris on fire and there is no field burn going on. The burning Polaris ended up setting a grass fire and the Fire Department was called to put it out. Polaris is denying the case for a refund or compensation for my vehicle.
