Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200804-11A4F-2147370712. Severity: Injury, Level of care not known. Product: Alpena Terrabar 22 (Led lightbar). Incident: I have an UTV and I decided to get a lightbar for it so I went to Walmart and got myself the alpena TerraBar 22 I installed it and it worked fine for like 10 minutes and then it turned off. When I checked the wiring it was burning hot and so was the switch. I thought that maybe it was defective so I returned it and got another one but I also got a wiring harness with fuse. When I turned it on it blew the fuse I rechecked all my wirng and it was fine so I moved the lightbar and put it on a battery by itself and it worked fine so I grabbed the lightbar to move it and it shocked me. Thats when i realized that the light bar was shorting and the entire housing of the light was electrified. I checked with my multimeter by putting the positive probe to the lightbar frame and the negative to the UTV Frame and it read a constant 11 volts
