Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200810-ED30A-2147370552. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Frigidaire Range convection oven glass cooktop FGES3065KFA (Frigidaire Range Model FGES3065KFA I purchased a firgidaire range slide in in 2010. Model number FGES3065KFA serial number NF00421659. It has a glass top and push in buttons. Back about a year ago when you would walk by the range it would beep and light up the front burner. It did not actually come on. Just the HE would come on quickly. Then whe we had something on that bunner it would raise the temp higher then what we originally set it to. I started filming it on my phone because I thought I was crazy. Now it comes on all by itself. I got on the recall list and saw there was problems. I did not type in the numbers assuming there was a recall. I called the company we purchased it from. Two gentlemen came out and said "yeah we know what part it is actually may be two parts. But this model is not covered by recall. Now my stove is doing the same thing other stoves are doing exact same thing and it is not covered. The worker said because slide ins are sold less so fewer people complain. We are cooking more and more at home and this burns things if I do not babysit it. It comes on whenever it wants to. This is a safety issue that needs to be taken care of. Can you please help me? Last Sunday I came downstairs and the front burner was on high. Fire red. I have grandchildren, I need an over to cook. We have not eaten out since March. I need a safe stove top. I just need the parts and fixed. I called the company and told them what happened. The repair people said they know what it is just like the recalled models. But they will not help me. This is so unsafe. Two Sundays ago it came on by itself and I came downstairs the burner was fire red. I can not leave anything on the stove or it will trigger the burner to come on. Other ovens that do the same thing are recalled.). Incident: I purchased a firgidaire
