Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200830-D89B9-2147370150. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung Samsung Galaxy S10FE 5G tablet and tablet cover. Source model text: S8 Active SM G892A and S8 SM-G950U. Incident: We have 2 Samsung S8 cellphones that are less than 2 years old. The batteries have expanded to the point of separating the cases and they become hot under continued use. According to [REDACTED] there is only a 2 year warrantee on these phones. I contend that this is a manufacturing defect and the batteries and or the phone should be replace free of charge. This event seems to be similar to Samsung 7 issue.
