Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200911-190B8-2147369862. Matched catalog product: Whirlpool WFG320M0BW. Source model text: WFG320M0BW0. Incident: On 9/08/2020, the outer glass on my Whirlpool oven door exploded/shattered for no discernable reason. Glass flew everywhere, and it was lucky that no children were nearby when it happened and I was across the room, so I was not injured. The oven is only three and a half years old and there were no cracks or abrasions in the glass before this happened or any indication that there was an issue with the oven. My husband and I only use the oven once or twice a week (even less in the summer) and have never had problems with it before.
