Incident: On Wednesday October 28th (today) our Frigidaire LFEF3054T D/F 30� Electric stove inner glass shattered sending 415 F glass pellets across our kitchen floors. It seems like a very dangerous failure and so I decided to report it immediately. Conditions were 71 degrees in the house normal humidity and oven temperature 415 F, nothing was touching the inner surface of the stove and I was the closest person to it. I had just walked in from work at 4:30 PM and my wife was using the stove to cook dinner. Nothing was on the cooktop just the chicken inside a glass container in the stove. A loud pop occurred followed by the glass collapsing in fingernail sized pieces and falling to the bottom of the stove, through the door seal and into the floor. The dish the chicken was in did not break and nothing else occurred outside of the door shattering. This stove was purchased from Lowes and we took possession/ it was delivered on July 23, 2019. It is a registered product. No injuries occurred, again I was closest to the stove and wearing thick soled shoes. Model No. LFEF3054TFG, Serial No. VF91914623 Pictures are available.
