Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20201204-8377C-2147367677. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung destroyed in fire. Most likely WA45H7000AW or WA52. Source model text: WA45H7000AW A2 04. Incident: My Samsung washing machine that was previously recalled and supposedly fixed basically almost blew up. The whole metal frame bent during a wash cycle, along with the top of the washing ejecting from the secured bottom. Luckily a screw kept the whole thing from flying off. I was using the product and truly thought a car had hit our house with how much it shook and the noise it made. No injuries luckily. I have contacted Samsung and no one will call back. They will text and basically told me to run a rinse cycle to see if the noise happened again. I told them my washing machine practically ejected and blew up and that was impossible. They then told me after I had asked to speak with someone over the phone multiple times that this is not possible. And also said the recall was settled. Clearly it wasnt fixed. I finally got a service request out and it said someone would contact me in 2 business days. 5 business days later no contact and an email saying my service request was cancelled. This washer could do serious injury or damage if the 1-2 screws did not re secure the top down. Instead it just bent the whole frame.
