Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20210117-8B2DA-2147366448. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung NE59N6630S. Source model text: NE59N6630SS/AA. Incident: A code C21 came up on our display of our Samsung Electric Range Model #NE59N6630S. We had just preheated the oven to 350 degrees to bake some cookies and put them in the oven. after approximately 6 minutes, we noticed the code C21 on the display and could smell the cookies burning slightly. None of the buttons on the control panel worked to turn the oven off! I had to turn the breaker off down in the basement to deenergize the oven.
