Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20210310-B1853-2147365427. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire Model Number FCRG3052BS. Source model text: FFSS2615TE. Incident: Ice maker was jammed and as I was moving around the ice my hand touched the bottom of the ice maker and severely burned my hand. It has now left a scar. Further research has indicated this is a common issue and there is no warning label in the manual or on the ice maker itself to indicate that there is apparently a heating coil that is open and unprotected, and can cause severe burns. I will be attaching photos.
