Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20210320-84AF7-2147365264. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Hamilton Beach 51101RV (Hamilton Beach blender, Model 51101RV UPC 4009491033). Incident: #1 November 26, 2020 Hello Hamilton Beach, I had a dishwasher once but, she moved away and got married. I doubt that even she could find a way to keep your product clean. I purchased this blender, 51101RV, at my local Meijer store earlier this year. It has stood me well for the majority of the time I have had it. However, I am unable to find a way to separate the blade from the container unit and I refuse to use it while I can see mold inside the jar. Any ideas? No? With the greatest respect, #2 [REDACTED] Good morning [REDACTED], I begin by saying that I am shocked that [REDACTED] sent back the product I no longer wanted. When I read his letter, I had a hard time understanding his motives; surely he did not get this directive from you. I did say that there seems to be a flaw in the design; it does not come clean nor does it disassemble for cleaning. Does this person think that I have not tried, every way I could think of, to clean this unit? Dare I say he did not try to clean it himself? using the method he has described? Sir, your own self-worth gained from this company is upwards of $3 million dollars. I cannot begin to think you are willing to risk $15.00 on your reputation or your com
