SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20210623-0DE13-2147363343. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: KitchenAid KDTM354DSS. Source model text: KDMT354DSS. Incident: I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher purchased in 2016. Model No. KDTM354DSS. I had noticed the wheels at the bottom of the washer tend to come off. Tonight, one came off and burned onto the hot coil at the bottom of the dishwasher. My son noticed a chemical smell. I opened the washer and felt a burning sensation in my lungs and eyes due to the fumes. It seems the wheel burned onto the coil during the drying cycle.
